Frame for drying meat |
Frame for drying meat. If I killed elk in the spring in the high forest, this is how I dry it, I make a meat-drying frame. In an open spot I set up two forked poles, onto the two forked poles I place the crossbar of the meat-drying frame, I hang the sliced meat on the crossbar. Afterwards I light a fire, the meat dries out in the heat of the fire. Then I take my meat home. |
